Why do I cook dinner?

A couple months ago a friend said she didn't know what she was going to do for dinner. It was a Tuesday. I told her about Taco Tuesdays at Rosa's and half-price burgers at Sonic.

"Why have I been cooking?" she asked.

Here's something to add to your Monday menu:

Make sure to get a big sweet tea with lemon and a side of fried okra. But don't let them give you fried okra off the steam table. Sweetly and innocently ask if they'll be frying any new batches soon. It's soooo much better brought right to your table fresh out of the fryer. :)
